Wendy Lloyd-Goodwin

Life Science Law was founded in 2015 by Wendy Lloyd-Goodwin, a leading life sciences legal expert, who spotted a need for a consultancy service from lawyers and compliance professionals with life science and pharmaceutical industry experience.

Having spent over 20 years at a number of leading pharmaceutical companies, where she built in-house legal and compliance teams, with a great reputation for providing proactive support to the business, she knows what it takes to create an effective department.

During her tenure as an in-house general counsel, Wendy saw first-hand the challenges of landing in a role without the right team to support her in addressing business priorities and challenges. It was difficult to obtain lawyers with the right niche level of industry expertise quickly and obtaining ad-hoc project based, or interim support from lawyers with industry expertise which could be ramped up and down as and when needed just didn’t exist.
