I am a member of the Spanish Bar, and I am also SCCE Certified CCEP-I from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. As an In-House Lawyer and Compliance Professional, I have a demonstrated history advising in Corporate Law within the Healthcare Cosmetics and Consumer Goods industry. As In-House Lawyer I have provided robust support in assisting businesses to expand into additional and multiple Countries and jurisdictions; providing advice on the areas of risk and mitigation to ensure the goals were attained in a seamless fashion.
I have developed and implemented highly effective negotiation and contracts procedures.
As a Chief Compliance Officer in one of my roles I successfully designed and implemented a five-year plan to develop compliance starting from scratch.
I have plugged Compliance gaps, by identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; developed/implemented corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provided general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
My experience in Compliance includes the development, initiation, maintainance, and revision of policies and procedures for the general operation of Compliance Programs and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct, and includes conducting internal audit investigations, report and prepare solutions for Board Decisions.
I lecture at congresses on compliance and new European Regulations, as well as training organizations and third parties on internal Business Codes of Conduct and Compliance issues.
