Overview of Experience

I was admitted to the French Bar more than 23 years ago, and I have worked within the pharmaceutical and medical devices sector as a corporate attorney for more than 20 years. I have experience handling legal and compliance matters, in mainly US, Japanese and French corporations: Organon, Allergan, LFB, Laboratoires Expanscience, before becoming an independent compliance consultant supporting organisations in such matters as Loi Sapin 2/ABAC Regulations: review and assessment of risk mapping, Code of Conduct review and benchmarking, and anti-corruption measures, audits and monitoring.

Corporate lawyer with a strong background in the pharmaceutical, medical device and Dermo cosmetic industries.

Commercial Law and Contracts : assessment of contractual risks, contract negotiation, handling of litigation.

I have regularly interacted with the following bodies: Autorité de la Concurrence (Competition law body), CNIL (Data Privacy Authority), ANSM (National Agency of Medicines and Health Products), National and Regional Council of Doctors and Health Professionals

I have also participated and followed the works done by the professional associations: LEEM, SNITEM and EFPIA.

Track Record

I have worked at different role levels: mainly as Regional Counsel/Head of legal and compliance departments for international companies located in France through subsidiaries with double reporting lines: I) international headquarters and ii) local Top Management.

At the same time, I have worked closely with local stakeholders being Commercial, Finance, Medical and/or Regulatory departments which gives me both a strategical and operational approach which is quite useful when entering into a new role as consultant and/or employee.

I feel closed to business targets, and I like to be proactive in supporting the dedicated teams in their current and new projects.

In my daily practice, I try thinking out of the box by taking into account existing best practices of the industry combined with new creative solutions which are aligned with the level of risk decided internally.
