Overview of Experience
I am a qualified Solicitor within the England and the Republic of Ireland. I founded Life Science Law in 2015, after spending over 20 years at a number of leading pharmaceutical and bio-tech space, where I built in-house legal and compliance teams, with a great reputation for providing proactive support to the business, through understanding what the business needs and creating effective teams to meet those needs.
During, that time, I found it difficult to obtain lawyers and industry expertise, quickly, to support un-expected ad-hoc projects or obtain interim support from lawyers with industry expertise which could be ramped up and down to meet sudden fluctuations in workload.
So I created Life Science Law to fill that gap.

Track Record
Novartis: Here is where my passion for the pharmaceutical industry began, some 20+ years ago, my first in-house role, where I supported Oncology, Clinical Trials and Tech Ops.
Novo-Nordisk: Here I created the in-house legal team for the UK and Ire division of Novo-Nordisk. During that time, I managed an ABPI Competitor Code breach complaint, which was at that time, the largest case the PMCPA had ever handled.
Merck Serono: Here I developed the legal team and rolled out the global compliance program across the pharma, chemicals, consumer health, and well-being divisions of the business within UK and Ireland.
Illumina: I was the first EU legal Counsel, here I turned around a failing EU contracts team, and also negotiated the 100K genome project with the UK Government.
Bristol Myers Squibb: This was my last in-house role, before pursing Life Science Law. Here I developed the legal and compliance team and navigated the waters through a number of company transformations and the acquisition of Celgene.
